Once the back section was complete, I added William Pegg in the dispensary, and his son Robert ready to serve behind the counter (another eBay purchase, from the days before I discovered that I could make my own furniture).

I chose the name of William Pegg from my family history researches.  He was my father's mother's mother's father, so my great great grandfather.  I believe he was nothing more than an agricultural labourer, so I hope he appreciates his promotion to Pharmacist.
Next came the partition to screen off the dispensary, with an open hatch at the bottom of the window in the door for handing through medicines, and a couple of customers.
Finally I added the shop frontage.  I stained the woodwork.  The fascia was printed off my computer, as were the tiles and the doorstep.  The display window was carpeted in cream, with a short dark green silk curtain behind it suspended from a brass pole.
The base and side walls were covered with card bricks, and I added a small pavement.

I was delighted with this little shop.  Please visit the
